Sally and Eric's Engagement Pictures | A Saxapahaw, NC Photographer

Due to the cold winter days, It's been a few months since I've done a full shoot and so I was really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and doing Sally and Eric's engagement shoot. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! It was sunny and 70 degrees and it felt like spring has officially arrived!

We chose to do Sally and Eric's session at one of my favorite places in the world: Saxapahaw, NC. My husband and I frequented Saxapahaw regularly when we were dating and we still love to go back as often as possible. Sally, Eric, and I wandered around the woods for a while and got some great pictures along the Haw river. Then we went to the balcony of Cup 22 (my all time favorite coffee shop!) and got some beautiful shots of them just as the sun was setting.

Sally and Eric, I had a wonderful time with you and I can't wait for your wedding in July!!

Heather & Walker's Anniversary Pictures at the Botanical Gardens | A Clemson, SC Photographer

Heather and Walker hold a special place in my heart! Not only are they wonderful friends but they were the first engagement pictures and wedding I've ever shot! Since their wedding I've been able to do a few anniversary sessions for them. They're so photogenic and easy to take pictures of because they always laugh and have fun during their session. I loved this shoot at the Clemson, SC botanical gardens and I had a very hard time narrowing down their images for this blog post! Enjoy!!

Hannah & Eric's Anniversary Pictures

I really enjoyed meeting Hannah, Eric, and their adorable dog Bailey! We had beautiful weather for their session and we hit the timing just right, about an hour before sunset. I was so pleased with the beautiful glowy light in their pictures. I hope you enjoy the pictures from this session as much as I do!

Hannah & Hunter's Anniversary Pictures

I had a BLAST taking Hannah and Hunter's pictures! We planned to go to the Chapman Covered bridge and our GPS ended up taking us to the Cliffs. We asked the guard about the bridge and he said they moved it! What?? That thwarted our plan but Hannah and Hunter did a great job being flexible. They talked with the guard and he agreed to let us in and take pictures on the Cliffs property! Our change of locations ended up being the best thing that could have happened! We found an abandoned dirt road and got some incredible pictures. I can't think of many more beautiful things that the sun setting through the fall leaves. After that, we stopped at a vineyard on our way out just before the sky got completely dark.

Hannah and Hunter, thank you for being so flexible! I had a lot of fun with you guys!
