I met the Conner family about an hour before sunset at Willowbrook Park in Burlington, NC to take pictures of their sweet children. We had a lot of fun and got some incredible light during the golden hour! The summer is a great time to book a portrait session while the temperatures are warm and the days are long. I was very excited when Michelle contacted me and asked me to take pictures of her with her family in honor of her graduation from UNC School of Medicine. What an honor to capture such a special and important celebration!
I had a blast with Michelle and her family! As you can tell from their pictures, they're a lot of fun. I told them that I actually think they win the award for the most "adventurous" family portrait session I've had so far when they jumped on each others backs for a picture (mom included!).
Catherine and Bryan asked me to do an engagement/family session with Bryan's beautiful daughter Kennedy. They wanted to do their session downtown Raleigh because Catherine lived downtown for a while and Raleigh is a very meaningful city for them. I haven't had the chance to explore downtown Raleigh much yet since Alex and I moved and so I was really excited for this session! Catherine really wanted an "urban" feel for her pictures and she picked some excellent spots. I had SO much fun with Catherine, Bryan, and Kennedy. They showed me around their city and we talked and laughed and took pictures along the way! We started out at the capitol and then walked to a very fun and bright mural. After that we stopped at some railroad tracks and we even ran into a horse and carriage (what are the chances?!)!!! We spent a few minutes at CAM (Contemporary Art Museum of Raleigh) and then ended our evening on the beautiful Boylan Bridge overlooking the Raleigh skyline.
Catherine and Bryan are getting married at 214 Martin in downtown Raleigh in September and I could not be MORE excited for their wedding! Thank you for a wonderful and fun session guys!
I really enjoyed the Williams family session! The Williams go to my church here in Mebane and I had a lot of fun getting to know them better. We had gorgeous weather and we started out at their ADORABLE blue home (seriously, it's adorable and the inside is just as cute as the outside!). Then we headed over to some extra property that Grace owns and got some beautiful shots at sunset!
