Taylors First Baptist Church | Kristen & Colin's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

Kristen and Colin had an unbelievably beautiful wedding day! It happened to be in the middle of the hurricane that hit South Carolina this past weekend and yet, it all came together perfectly. I was so blessed and encouraged by Kristen and Colin's flexible and joyful attitudes in spite of the crazy weather that came their way! They really made the most out of it and regardless of the rain and wind, their pictures are some of my absolute favorites! They had a beautiful ceremony at Taylors First Baptist Church and an unbelievably beautiful reception at Colin's parents home in Greenville. Colin's mom is a very talented artist and she did all of the florals and the decor for the reception. The reception was originally supposed to be outdoors in their backyard but was moved inside due to the weather and I couldn't believe how gorgeous everything looked!

I'm also excited to share that Colin and Kristen's wedding will be featured in Greenville's November issue of TALK magazine so if you live in the area, be sure to pick up a copy!!

Colin and Kristen- photographing your wedding was an absolutely joy! I hope you're having an amazing time on your honeymoon and that you have fun reliving your wedding day together!

214 Martin Street | Catherine and Bryan's Wedding | A Raleigh, NC Wedding Photographer

Catherine and Bryan had a beautiful wedding day! I absolutely loved all of their vendors! They got married in the beautiful and unique 214 Martin right downtown Raleigh. Catherine and Bryan love downtown Raleigh and wanted an "urban" feel for the pictures and their wedding (see their engagement pictures downtown Raleigh). There was a festival and several other things going on in downtown Raleigh the Saturday of their wedding and so it was a little crazy trying to get around. However, everything ended up working out perfectly and Catherine and Bryan kept a good attitude the whole day! Catherine and Bryan were so much fun and it was an absolutely joy to capture their love for one another!

Starlight Meadow | Marie & Ben's Wedding | A Burlington, NC Wedding Photographer

Marie and Ben's wedding day was beautiful! It was the perfect start to fall and the perfect first wedding to kick off all the weddings I have in the next several weeks! I absolutely loved their venues, colors, flowers, dresses, everything! I also loved that Marie and Ben incorporated a lot of special details into their wedding. Marie wore the veil that her mom wore on her wedding day and the diamond in Marie's engagement ring is from Ben's grandmother's ring and it's been in the family for 100+ years! In addition, the necklace Marie wore was originally given to Marie's great-grandmother from her great-grandfather as an engagement gift. The necklace has now been worn by both Marie's mother and Marie on their wedding days. What amazing family history! Marie's uncle also grew all of the sunflowers in the wedding and Ben's grandmother made the sun catchers hanging from Marie's bouquet.

I have really enjoyed getting to know Marie and Ben during their engagement session and Marie's bridal portraits. Their love for one another is SO evident and they are so sweet together! Marie and Ben, thank you for trusting me to capture your special day! I hope you enjoy re-living every moment!

Florence Civic Center Wedding | Matt & Morgan's Wedding | A Florence, SC Wedding Photographer

Matt and Morgan's wedding was a beautiful, joyful, Christ-exalting day. I have known Morgan since she was a freshman in college and she is an amazing person! I was so honored to be a part of her day. I share more about her in my post with her bridal portraits. It wasn't surprising to me that on her wedding day she was just as sweet and amazing as ever! Morgan had a huge smile on her face the whole day, she never seemed stressed or anxious, and she spread joy to everyone around her, as she always does! Matt and Morgan's love for one another and their joy in Christ was so evident on their wedding day and it was beautiful to see!

A few of my favorite parts of the day were: Morgan's first look with her dad (just look at the pictures...it's adorable!), Morgan's tearful prayers with her bridesmaids, Matt's reaction during the ceremony, and Morgan's dad presenting Matt with a bear claw necklace (a family tradition). Matt and Morgan's wedding day exalted Christ and displayed the gospel through the celebration of their marriage. It was such a fun day and an absolute privilege to capture!

Burke Manor Inn Wedding | Sally & Eric's Wedding | A Gibsonville, NC Wedding Photographer

I've really enjoyed getting to know Sally and Eric! I've had the privilege of taking their engagement pictures, sally's bridal portraits, and now shooting their wedding! Sally and Eric had a lovely, classic, and intimate green and white wedding. The ceremony was at their beautiful church in Graham, NC and the reception was at an adorable bed and breakfast called the Burke Manor Inn. I absolutely loved Burke Manor and the staff their were great! We were also able to get some beautiful pictures during the golden hour just before sunset that I'm in love with! Brides and grooms, I highly encourage you to consider stepping out during your reception to get some pictures during the golden hour...it's so worth it!

Sally and Eric, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!!
