Upcountry History Museum | Stephanie & Victor's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

I met Stephanie years ago on a summer project with Generation LINK. I so enjoyed getting to know Stephanie and I loved watching her grow in Christ that summer. So I was delighted when Stephanie contacted me about shooting her wedding day!

Stephanie's wedding day was one of the most laid back that I've shot. Stephanie and Victor chose to have a smaller wedding with no bridal party. The whole day was so relaxed and absolutely beautiful! Stephanie has a very classic, southern style and her wedding definitely reflected that! Victor is a Marine and so I also loved seeing how they incorporated the military into various parts of their wedding. A few of my favorite parts of the day were: Stephanie's prayers with her friends and with her mother/MIL (soooo sweet), Victor's dads toast and the honor he showed to the military in attendance and their significant others, the armadillo grooms cake (watch Steel Magnolias to get that one!), and the huge dance party during the reception!

Commerce Club | Katie & Bill's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

It has been a joy to photograph Katie and Bill's engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and their wedding! I actually knew Katie and Bill from when I was in college at Clemson. Katie was the same year as me and we were both involved in Cru. Katie and Bill also knew each other through Cru but they were just friends. During their engagement session they told me about how they reconnected when Bill moved to Atlanta and started dating.

Katie and Bill are both strong believers and it was very evident throughout their wedding day that Christ was at the center of their relationship and their marriage. Their wedding was gorgeous and very classy! I absolutely loved shooting at the Commerce Club and Katie and Bill's portraits are some of my favorite I've ever taken (you can't go wrong with a rooftop at sunset!!). If you need something to convince you to take romantic portraits at sunset, just take a look at Katie and Bill's pictures!

What's in My Wedding Packages? (Updated)

Over a year ago I shared what's in the packages that I mail to my wedding clients after their special day. I have changed my packages a little since then and so I wanted to share some updated pictures with you!

First of all, before my clients receive their package, they are sent an online gallery with all of their wedding pictures. I used PASS for several years but switched over to Pixiset this past spring. I may do a future post on the reasons why I switched (let me know if you'd be interested in a post on that topic!). They have a lot of similarities but I am LOVING Pixiset. Here's an example of a sample Pixiset gallery

After my clients receive their Pixiset gallery, I send them a wedding package with a beautiful gift box and wooden USB drive. They don't actually "need" the USB drive since they have all of the high-resolution images available to them on Pixiset, but I like to give them with a tangible gift with their images. I also give them a set of 10-20 4x6" professionally printed images. I print all of my images through one of the nation's top professional labs, White House Custom Color. I like to give my clients a few prints because I think it shows them how beautiful their pictures are when they're printed. In this day and age, we have a tendency to keep everything on our computers and to never get anything printed. I want my clients to be encouraged to print out their wedding pictures and treasure them for years and years to come!

Sometimes I also include an additional fun personalized gift in their package like the logo cookies you see in these pictures. I also always include a handwritten note and business card.

My hope is to build a meaningful relationship and create a "Wedding Experience" with my clients. I don't want them to just view their wedding photography simply as a business transaction. I want them to feel cared for and served. I want my clients to trust me and feel like I take the importance of capture their memories very seriously. I really feel that I have been blessed with SUCH amazing clients and I am so thankful for each bride and groom that has allowed me to be a part of their wedding day.

Even as I share this, I will add a little caveat that I'm always tweaking my branding and trying to offer the best products available in way that fits my personalized brand. So, these packages could change slightly in the coming months!

Kurtz's Beach | Gabrielle & Ryan's Wedding | A Pasadena, MD Wedding Photographer

I have enjoyed getting to know Gabrielle and Ryan! Gabrielle is also a photographer and so I was very honored when she choice me to photograph her wedding. I had a wonderful time exploring DC with these two for their engagement session last spring.

Gabrielle and Ryan's wedding was originally scheduled for November but they recently decided to move the wedding up because Gabrielle's dad got very sick. I was very happy they were able to move the wedding up for his sake and they did an amazing job putting together some of the final pieces of their wedding very quickly!

Their wedding was full of love and lots of friends and family! I loved Gabrielle's first look with her father (SO sweet!) and I loved the way that Gabrielle included her son Maciek throughout the day! Maciek received his own ring during the ceremony and he read his own set of vows. It was a beautiful day!!

Crosspoint Church | Jenna & Daniel's Wedding | A Clemson, SC Wedding Photographer

I met Jenna the beginning of her freshman year at Clemson and I quickly became impressed with her maturity and wisdom. As I got to know her better, my respect for her only grow over time. I was delighted when Daniel and Jenna started dated and was so encouraged to see their God-honoring relationship. Jenna and Daniel are such a great fit for one another and their fun personalities, love for the Lord, and love for other people overflow from their relationship.

Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful! A few of my favorite moments were: Jenna and Daniel's first look (Daniel is the first groom I've seen turn and show his bride his suit after she showed him her dress...haha!), Jenna's flower girl (I mean, is she not the cutest EVER?!), Jenna's prayer with her bridesmaids before the ceremony, Daniel's reaction as Jenna walked down the aisle (and really their whole ceremony), and their fun reception. It was a joy and pleasure to capture Jenna and Daniel's day and to get to spend time with their wonderful friends and family! I can't wait to see how Jenna and Daniel glorify the Lord in their marriage!
