Umstead Park | Staci & Jimmy's Engagement Session | A Raleigh, NC Wedding Photographer

Somehow in the busyness of wedding season last spring I neglected to share Staci and Jimmy's engagement session! We took these pictures at Umstead park almost exactly a year ago and, ironically enough, Staci and Jimmy are about to get married this weekend one year later on May 19! Staci and Jimmy are SO sweet and so much fun, as you can see in their pictures! We actually took these pictures right before a big thunderstorm and thankfully we were able to get some great shots before the storm came.

I'm so excited for their wedding at Lake O'Woods this weekend! In the meantime, here's a few of my favorites from their session:

Pilot Mountain State Park | Jenny & Zach's Engagement Pictures | A Winston-Salem, NC Wedding Photographer

Jenny and Zach were super brave and met me at Pilot Mountain Park during one of the many freezing cold days we've had in January! I was so excited they wanted to do their session there because I've been dying to get out there and shoot (it's only 30 minutes from my house) and it did NOT disappoint. I had so much fun hiking around with Zach and Jenny and they were such troopers in the cold and had a great attitude the whole time. I'm so excited for their April wedding at The Bradford!! Downtown Greensboro | Amanda & Kemp's Engagement Pictures | A Greensboro, NC Wedding Photographer

I had a blast with Amanda and Kemp during their session! We met at Fisher Park and then made our way downtown Greensboro and got pictures in the lovely garden behind their friend's brewery. Amanda is very sweet and Kemp kept us laughing the whole time! They both work at Elon but met on "Coffee Meets Bagel" (hence the coffee and bagel pictures during their session). Elkin Creek Vineyard | Julia & Tony's Engagement Session | A Winston-Salem, NC Wedding Photographer

Julia and Tony wanted to take their engagement pictures at a vineyard because they got engaged at a vineyard. There a lots of lovely vineyards around Winston-Salem and we had a great time at Elkin Creek (tip for my future couples: vineyards are a great option for engagement pictures!). I love when my couples choose a location that is meaningful to them! We actually took these pictures the day before hurricane Irma hit so we fit them in just in time. :) I had so much fun getting to know Julia and Tony during their session and I can't wait for their July wedding at the lovely Merrimon-Wynne house!

Lisa and Joe were a joy to photograph! We had a great time hiking around Merritt's Pasture and we were able to catch an AMAZING sunset at the top of a hill in the pasture. Seriously, it was gorgeous! See a few of my favorite below:
