Ben and Shanna had a lovely, intimate wedding at Luna’s Trail a few weeks ago. Their wedding was the first one that I’ve shot post-COVID and I’m so thankful to be back at it again! I had the privilege of shooting their surprise proposal and so it was wonderful to be back with them for this celebration. I really appreciated Ben and Shanna’s positive attitude in spite of the postponements and changes they had to make to their wedding day. They had a small and intimate gathering with just a few of their closest friends and family and will have a larger celebration next May.

One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to know my clients and so it’s always a privilege when former clients want me to take pictures for them again! I photographed Ginny and George’s wedding a few years ago and now they are pregnant with their first baby (a boy!) and wanted me to take maternity pictures. I am thrilled to share Jessica & Willis' downtown Raleigh wedding with you! They are the kindest and most laid back couple and their wedding day was such a lovely and elegant fall wedding. Their ceremony and reception took place at Church on Morgan and we got to take lots of fun pictures downtown Raleigh. I love that they gave me extra time after their reception ended to walk over to the capitol and take tons of additional pictures! I am always so thankful when couples prioritize their romantic portraits because, in my opinion, those are some of the most important pictures you will take all day.
