Tanglewood Park | Kaitlin & Justin's Wedding | A Winston-Salem, NC Wedding Photographer

I have really enjoyed getting to know Kaitlin and Justin over the past year through their engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding! I remember sitting down with Kaitlin, Justin, and Kaitlin's mom Stephanie over a year ago and coming home and telling my husband, "I just met with my ideal bride!" Kaitlin was so sweet and easy to connect with and her wedding sounded perfectly my style! 

Kaitlin and Justin's wedding day was absolutely beautiful! It was filled with friends, family, and gorgeous details (like her amazing flowers and decor!!). A few of my favorite moments were Kaitlin's first look with her grandfather, all the gifts that were exchanged throughout the day, their ceremony, and the anniversary cake for Kaitlin's grandparents (it was their 50th anniversary the same day as their wedding!). Carolina Wedding Barn | Katie & Justin's Wedding | A New Bern, NC Wedding Photographer

Katie & Justin had the sweetest wedding on Saturday in the quant town of New Bern, NC! Fun fact: Nicholas Sparks lives in New Bern! Sammi and I went up the day before the wedding and stayed at a nice hotel on the river and we had a blast walking around the city. Katie and Justin's wedding day was beautiful. It threatened to rain all day but it never did and the sun even came out towards the end of the day! My favorite part of their day was the Elvis impersonator they had during their reception, I've never seen that done at a wedding before!

The Poinsett Club | Sarah & Alexandre's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

I have a treat for you today! I am so excited to share Sarah and Alexandre's wedding! I actually shot Sarah's brother Colin's wedding last year and so it was a joy to shoot another wedding for the Tice family. Sarah and Alex are a very sweet couple and their wedding was absolutely stunning! You may remember from Colin's wedding that his mom, Lisa Tice, is an amazing artist (the painting you see pictured below is a portrait she painted of Sarah when she was a child!) and she did an incredible job designing all of the decor. Their decorations reminded me of a whimsical, enchanted forest...it was stunning! Alexandre is from France and so they also had some special details that are meaningful to them like a traditional French wedding cake (called a croquembouche). It was an amazing day!

The Merrimon-Wynne House | Cassie & Brock's Wedding | A Raleigh, NC Wedding Photographer

Cassie and Brock's wedding day was about as close to perfect as you can get! They had a beautiful and sunny 65-70 degree wedding day in the middle of February! They also had a stunning venue and an amazing team of vendors. Their details were perfect; what could be better than copper + greenery + succulents + and lots of geometric shapes?!

Cassie and Brock are so much fun together and their joy over being with one another exuded throughout their wedding day. Their day was a big celebration full of close family and friends. Brock is actually being deployed in a few weeks and so it was a joy for Cassie and Brock to be able to come together as husband and wife before he leaves.
