Starlight Meadow | Marie & Ben's Wedding | A Burlington, NC Wedding Photographer

Marie and Ben's wedding day was beautiful! It was the perfect start to fall and the perfect first wedding to kick off all the weddings I have in the next several weeks! I absolutely loved their venues, colors, flowers, dresses, everything! I also loved that Marie and Ben incorporated a lot of special details into their wedding. Marie wore the veil that her mom wore on her wedding day and the diamond in Marie's engagement ring is from Ben's grandmother's ring and it's been in the family for 100+ years! In addition, the necklace Marie wore was originally given to Marie's great-grandmother from her great-grandfather as an engagement gift. The necklace has now been worn by both Marie's mother and Marie on their wedding days. What amazing family history! Marie's uncle also grew all of the sunflowers in the wedding and Ben's grandmother made the sun catchers hanging from Marie's bouquet.

I have really enjoyed getting to know Marie and Ben during their engagement session and Marie's bridal portraits. Their love for one another is SO evident and they are so sweet together! Marie and Ben, thank you for trusting me to capture your special day! I hope you enjoy re-living every moment!

Alamance Historical Museum | Marie's Bridal Portraits | A Burlington, NC Wedding Photographer

I met up with Marie and her mom a few months ago to take her bridal portraits and (I know I say this all the time) but it really was so hard to wait to share them! Marie's mom had the great idea of doing Marie's portraits at the Alamance Historical Museum. I loved this spot and all of the different options we had for pictures! I kept thinking about how much it reminded me of the Secret Garden (did anyone else LOVE that book growing up?!). Marie made a stunning bride and I absolutely LOVED her dress! Here's a few of my favorites...

Burke Manor Inn Wedding | Sally & Eric's Wedding | A Gibsonville, NC Wedding Photographer

I've really enjoyed getting to know Sally and Eric! I've had the privilege of taking their engagement pictures, sally's bridal portraits, and now shooting their wedding! Sally and Eric had a lovely, classic, and intimate green and white wedding. The ceremony was at their beautiful church in Graham, NC and the reception was at an adorable bed and breakfast called the Burke Manor Inn. I absolutely loved Burke Manor and the staff their were great! We were also able to get some beautiful pictures during the golden hour just before sunset that I'm in love with! Brides and grooms, I highly encourage you to consider stepping out during your reception to get some pictures during the golden hour...it's so worth it!

Sally and Eric, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!!
