The session I’m sharing today is a very special one! I had the privilege of doing a newborn session for my newest nephew, Ezra! Alex and I prayed with and for Zack and Erin that God would bless them with a child and we were so encouraged to watch them trust God to provide. We are so thankful that in God’s kindness and timing, he gave them Ezra! Erin had a difficult 36+ hour labor but she was so strong through it all and I’m so proud of her! Ezra is SO sweet and handsome.
On another note, I really LOVE doing “in home” newborn sessions, especially now that I have my own babies! If you’re interested in a lifestyle newborn session, please send me an email! In addition, I added one picture towards the end of Ezra crying because, well it’s real life with a newborn, and secondly because just about every newborn cries through a large portion of their session. I mean, they’re only a few days old and they’re usually tired and hungry! I say that to encourage you moms out there to not feel “bad” if your baby is crying because you can get SO many amazing pictures in the short moments when they’re content. Also, you should always feel the freedom to stop and nurse or do whatever you need to do to soothe your baby during your session. One other tip: consider setting up a space heater so they stay nice and warm while they go through several outfit changes. That often helps them be more content (especially in the winter!).
Here’s a few of my favorites from their session taken in Ezra’s ADORABLE nursery when he was 4 days old:
